THE WAY GOSPEL CHURCH

Bishop Ferdinand Shideko is the first Archbishop and founder of The Way Gospel Church (TWGC), whose headquarter is in Washington DC, United States. He started this church in 2008 here in the United Sates, at that time the church was called The Way of The Cross Gospel Ministries. Bishop Shideko has a master’s degree in Intercultural/Multicultural and Diversity Studies from Trinity International University, Illnois, United States; and is currently a PhD finalist at Central Theological Seminary, Minnesota, United States. Before attaining this level of eductaion, Bishop Shideko acquired an Advanced Diploma in Theology from Nassa Theological College, in Tanzania. Bishop Shideko is a teacher by profession. He is a husband of one wife, which is Evangelist and First Lady Tabitha Shideko. God has blessed them with 6 children, out of them 3 are female and 3 are male. Bishop Shideko was born on 31/7/1958. He received Jesus in 1975 and was baptized in 1976. He was ordained into the office of Archbishop on 20th February 2022 at The Way Gospel Church, Washington DC, United Sates. The ordination service was officiated by a jury of Archbishops led by Bishop Rabbi Mwakanani, assisted by Archbishop Israel Wandaba, and Archbishop John Bunango. The ordination ceremony was witnessed by all church members, pastors, invited guests, leaders from the Tanzania embassy in the United Sates, and leaders and representatives from Tanzanian communities in the United Sates. 

Mchungaji Jacob Leonard Merere alianza kumtumikia Mungu tangu mwaka 1996 alipojiunga na Chuo cha Vijana Wenye Wito (Youth With a Mission College) nchini Uganda. Baada ya kuhitimu masomo ya biblia nchini Uganda, Mch. Jacob alitumika kama Mwalimu wa Elimu ya Biblia katika shule mbali mbali za sekondari jijini Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Mwaka 2000, Mungu alimpa huduma ya Uchungaji katika kanisa la International Gospel Church lenye makao yake Boston, Massachusetts, nchini Marekani. Kadhalika, mwaka 2006 alihudumu kama Mchungaji na Kiongozi wa Kusifu na Kuabudu (Praise & Worship leader) katika kanisa la Rapture Harvest Mission, Boston, Massachusetts. Mwinj. Jacob alijiunga na kanisa la The Way mwaka 2012 hadi 2013, na baadaye mwaka 2019. Kati ya mwaka 2013 hadi 2019, Mch. Jacob ametumika katika uongozi wa huduma ya East Africa Mission Fellowship iliyo chini ya kanisa la Bethel. Mwaka 2019 alisimikwa kuwa Mwinjilisti na baadaye mwaka 2020 akasimikwa kuwa Mchungaji katika kanisa la The Way Gospel Church. Kwa sasa, Mchungaji Jacob anamsaidia Mchungaji Kiongozi kama mwangalizi wa Huduma ya Umisheni, na ni mwangalizi wa kanisa la The Way Gospel Church Nevada. Mchungaji Jacob ana mke mmoja kipenzi aitwaye Irene Lusenaka Merere.

Rev. John Kadyolo was called to serve the Lord since 1985. He was trained at Tanzania Assemblies of GOD Bible College in Dodoma from 1990 to1992 (3 years). Rev. Kadyolo was ordained in 1995 at the General Meeting of the Tanzania Assemblies of God in Dar es Salaam. Since then, he has pastored, led and supervised not less than 5 under TAG in Tanzania. He also led an apostolic ministry

to communities not reached by Gospel (The Unreached People) until 2006 before he came to the United States. While in the United States, Rev. Kadyolo continued to serve The Unreached People ministry, until 2009 when he started serving as one of the pastors at the The Way. In 2014 he went back to further the Unreached People ministry. In 2020 Rev. Kadyolo returned to The Way where he serves God until today, as an overseer of Prayer and Deliverance Ministry at The Way Gospel Chrch. Rev. Kadyolo is a husband of one wife ( Rev. Susan Kadyolo).

Pastor Celina responded to her ministerial calling since 1970 when she joined Mwika Bible School, in Kilimanjaro Tanzania. Afterwards, she obtained training from Life Ministry on one-on-one evangelism, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in which she was involved in evangelistic mission of Jesus Film. In addition, she served with Nakuru Life Ministry as an evangelism teacher. Afterwards,  she was engaged in outreach missions in societies which had not been ministered with the gospel such as Masai, Sonjos, Hazabes, Barbaigi, Mbugus na Sandawes. She also served as a Sunday School Teacher at Rongai Mission School, Kilimanjaro Tanzania. After serving as an Evangelist for 8 years, she was ordained to Pastor at The Way Gospel Church in 2020. Currently, she assists the Senior Pastor in overseeing Prayer Ministry, Family and Marriage, Evangelical Outreach and and coordinating various seminars.

Pastor Milcah responded to her calling to ministry since 2001 when she joined Majahida Bible College in Tanzania as a Bible Teacher. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Scott Christian University, in Kenya; Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University, Virginia, U.S.A; and Master of Arts in International Development from Eastern University, Pennsylvania, U.S. A. After serving as an Evangelist, she was ordained to Pastor in 2020 at The Way Gospel Church. Currently, Pastor Milcah assists the Senior Pastor in overseeing Hospitality ministry, and Singing Ministry. She is also one of the members of The Sound of Glory Singers team. In addition, Pastor Milcah has been involved in humanitarian assistance to refugees and immigrants from the Africa and Caribbean.
